NOAA/NHC feed — Atlantic and eastern North Pacific; Central Pacific only when supplied by the official feed.
Advisory centers come from the current NHC feed. Forecast positions are parsed from the official forecast advisory text, with its own issue number and time. No past track, warning polygons, or uncertainty cone are inferred.

Successful retrievals are cached for five minutes in server memory. Refresh retrieves the source again. A failed retrieval may show a labeled snapshot from the last successful fetch for up to 24 hours. A cold server has no snapshot.
Historical replay uses one real Milton public advisory, issued 2024-10-10 03:00 UTC and captured 2026-10-18. Its historical clock stays fixed. Basemap: Natural Earth 1:110m; generalized boundaries and small islands may be absent.
